The Visa Cash App RB Formula One team have signed new partnerships with Tudor and Piquadro ahead of the 2024 season.

Contract:

  • Swiss watch manufacturer Tudor becomes official timekeeper partner
  • Piquadro signs on as official luggage partner

Context:

The length of both deals has not been confirmed, but neither claims to be a multi-year contract. Ahead of the launch of the team’s new car, Red Bull’s second team is ramping up its commercial agreements. This now makes three deals, including the contract renewal with XMTrading, since the team rebranded.

Comment:

“We are delighted to welcome Tudor to our team,” said Peter Bayer, chief executive of Visa Cash App RB. “They have a long history in motorsport, dating back to the ‘60s when they first got involved in sports car racing, as well as historic racing and rallying.”

He added: “With a 24-race calendar taking us across four continents, Formula One is a sport that is constantly on the move and always puts everyone and everything involved under a lot of pressure.

“Each team member will take between 50 and 70 flights a year, knowing we can count on Piquadro to supply luggage that is tough, functional and built to last is one less thing to worry about.”

Coming next:

The first car design under the new Visa Cash App RB name will be revealed on 8th February, before the 2024 Formula One season starts with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 2nd March.
