Formula One will be shown exclusively by streaming platform DAZN in Portugal from 2025.
Contract:
- Media rights deal is for at least three years
- Coverage includes the feeder series – Formula Two, Formula Three, and F1 Academy – as well as the Porsche Supercup
Context:
The streaming platform will replace Sport TV as the exclusive home of Formula One in Portugal next season. The broadcaster is currently in the final year of a three-year deal.
Sport TV originally replaced Eleven Sports in 2022, which was then acquired by DAZN later that year in a move allowing the company to offer premium localised services in new markets, enabling this Portuguese distribution.
