MotoGP extends ServusTV deal until 2026

Salzburg-based broadcaster to continue exclusive coverage in Austria.

Dorna Sports, commercial rights holder of MotoGP, has signed an extension with free-to-air (FTA) ServusTV until 2026.

Confirmed:

  • Salzburg-based broadcaster to continue exclusive coverage in Austria
  • Three-year extension continues a partnership with the Red Bull-owned broadcaster that began in 2016

Context:

This represents the latest motorsport extension for ServusTV, with the broadcaster having renegotiated deals with Formula One, DTM and WRC in the past year. This deal comes after last weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix, where 95,000 watched Pecco Bagnaia extend his lead at the top of the drivers’ championship.

Comment:

Dan Rossomondo, chief commercial officer of Dorna Sports, said: “We’re really happy to renew with ServusTV until 2026 and continue this longstanding partnership. MotoGP is the world’s most exciting sport and partners like ServusTV ensure our millions of fans get the best experience possible, with exceptional coverage at their fingertips, on TV as well as on digital platforms.

“That’s already reflected in great audience figures, and it's also a huge asset as we continue to seek new fans – knowing that they’ll get a great showcase of our sport when they tune in to watch MotoGP on ServusTV in Austria.”

Coming next:

MotoGP returns for its next race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 3rd September.
