McLaren Racing has agreed an expansion of its multi-year partnership with Workday.

Contract:

  • Workday will continue as an official partner of the McLaren Formula One team
  • Company branding to receive increased visibility on the car’s rear wing

Context:

Workday received limited branding as part of its original deal signed last year, so this reworked pact will see the company’s logo find space on the rear wing of the McLaren despite limited space. Indeed, the team agreed its 41st sponsorship deal earlier this week with Airwallex.

The company also has a partnership with Formula One, having first signed a regional deal with the series in 2021. This was then expanded to include Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 2022.

Comment:

Matt Dennington, executive director of partnerships and accelerator for McLaren Racing, said: “We are delighted to expand our partnership with Workday. Its solutions have hugely supported our adaptability and agility in decision-making as a business, and we are looking forward to continuing this into the future.”

Coming next:

The Formula One season gets underway in Sakhir with the Bahrain Grand Prix taking place from 29th February to 2nd March.
