Gumball 3000 partners with P1 Fuels

Founder Maximillion Cooper to trial WRC’s official fuel supplier during European Tour.

The Gumball 3000 has signed a partnership with P1 Fuels ahead of its European Tour event.

Confirmed:

  • Maximillion Cooper, founder of Gumball 3000, will use P1 Fuels’ synthetic fuel in the upcoming Gumball 3000 European Tour
  • Gumball 3000 European Tour will be used as an initial trial, with the goal to convert all participants in future rallies

Context: P1 Fuels’ motorsport influence is slowly growing. The brand currently supplies hydrocarbon-based fuels to the World Rally Championship (WRC) in a deal that concludes at the end of the 2024 season, while it recently agreed a partnership with former Formula One driver Sebastian Vettel that will see the German use biofuel during his outings at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Comment: Cooper said: “Gumball 3000 is really looking forward to this partnership with P1 Fuels, and to spearhead the movement to sustainable fuels, so we can continue to hear the beautiful sound of combustion engines whilst moving towards a more sustainable future.”

Coming next: The event starts on 11th June in Edinburgh and concludes in Porto Montenegro on 16th June 2023. The distributor and supplier assisting P1 Fuels will be formally announced in the coming weeks.
