Supercars extends Kenworth partnership until at least 2025

American manufacturer continues as official heavy duty truck partner.

The Australia-based Supercars Championship has extended its long-standing partnership with American truck manufacturer Kenworth.

Confirmed:

  • Kenworth extends its contract until at least the 2025 season
  • Contract includes delivery of two specialised trucks to each Supercars event

Context: The 2025 season will be the 26th consecutive year that Kenworth has been Supercars' partner in that category. The wording of this two-year contract extension announcement also appears to suggest there is the option of a further year, with Kenworth continuing until ‘at least’ the end of the 2025 season.

Comment: Shane Howard, chief executive of Supercars, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Kenworth as the official heavy duty truck of Supercars. Their unwavering support and dedication have been instrumental in the success of our events for over 20 years. We look forward to the next chapter of our partnership, delivering world-class experiences to our passionate fans.”

Coming next: Supercars returns to action with the Sydney SuperNight race from 29th to 30th July.
