Paretta Autosport are extending their return to IndyCar with an additional race at this year’s season finale in Laguna Seca.

The racing outfit had initially planned to compete at the Sonsio Grand Prix at Road America on 12th June, the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio on 3rd July and the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix on 7th August in Nashville.

It was hoped at the time of the announcement in April that additional races would be added as schedules permit.

Swiss-Italian driver Simona De Silvestro will continue as Paretta’s driver, but there has been no announcement on who will be the title sponsor for the team.

STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) learning company KiwiCo ran as primary sponsor for the team’s first two outings, while resource planning software firm Acumatica took over for the last race in Nashville.

Beth Paretta, the team’s owner, has not confirmed the outfit’s plans for next season yet, but said in April that she hopes it will be able to run all IndyCar rounds eventually.
