Nascar has teamed up with mobile game developer Hutch to produce a standalone mobile game.
- Specialist mobile developer will lead development on fully licensed experience
- Full details on the new game will be revealed in due course
The developer, behind existing racing titles like F1 Clash and Top Drives, will look to combine its expertise in producing racing games with the far-reaching brand of Nascar.
Nick Rend, managing director of gaming and esports at Nascar, said: “At Nascar, our number one priority is engaging our fans and bringing them the best experiences possible whether they’re at the track or in digital spaces where they like to spend time. We want to deliver our fans around the world a unique, immersive mobile gaming experience. Hutch, with its expertise in the automotive genre and track record of creating fun and popular games, is the perfect partner to make this happen.”
This move follows Nascar’s increased focus on the gaming and esports space, with recent developments including an arcade-style racing game being produced in collaboration with GameMill Entertainment Gaming called Nascar Arcade Rush and an esports partnership being signed with Gen.G.
