Nascar is set to release its new arcade-style racing game, Arcade Rush, on 15th September.
Confirmed:
- Real-world Nascar tracks will be included with a cartoon spin
- GameMill Entertainment Gaming produced title made available across all major consoles and on PC
- Arcade Rush is being priced at US$49.99 (UK£39.21)
Context:
The project was first announced in June and, according to SBJ, a ‘substantiantal announcement’ is coming for console gaming, which implies further expansion in this sphere for Nascar beyond the Arcade Rush game.

Consequence:
Following the stock car racing series’ decision to expand its collegiate athletics sponsorship presence, this is a further indication of Nascar’s desire to engage with a younger demographic. The arcade sim will target a much younger demographic
