MXGP extends Monster Energy primary partnership

Energy drinks brand also retains title sponsorship of Motocross of Nations event.

Infront Moto Racing, the commercial rights holder for Motocross (MXGP), has extended its long-term deal with Monster Energy.

Confirmed:

  • Energy drinks brand also retains title sponsorship of Motocross of Nations event

Context:

MXGP and Monster Energy have been partners since 2011 and the latest extension guaranteeing the agreement will continue for at least the next two years. The Motocross of Nations event is an annual race where riders represent their countries, acting as the pinnacle of the MXGP season.

Infront Moto Racing chief executive David Luongo said: “We are very proud to announce the renewal of our partnership with Monster Energy. On top of being the most exciting and active brand in the world of Motorsports, Monster Energy has also been a very strong partner in the most difficult and challenging times we had to experience, especially during the two years of Covid.

“We are sharing the same vision of raising the MXGP World Championship to be a global sport and to reach new territories together. It is now more than a decade that we work together, and it is always a pleasure to share the same vision of making Motocross bigger and more popular season after season.”

Coming next:

The 2024 MXGP season gets underway in Villa La Angostura, Argentina, on 10th March, with the season-ending Motocross of Nations set to be hosted in Matterley Basin in the UK on an unconfirmed date.
