F1’s Miami GP names Viva as founding partner

Contract with telecommunications company includes exclusive Paddock Club lounge.

Formula One's Miami Grand Prix has named telecommunications company Viva as a founding partner of the race on a multi-year deal.

Contract:

  • Viva to receive its own Paddock Club lounge for invited guests
  • Telecommunications company also to be featured in the Promenade with a premium lounge
  • Trackside and grandstand signage also included for the company

Context: The Miami circuit joined the calendar last season on a ten-year deal, but the first season was fraught with hospitality issues. In response, the organisers have carried out major investment around the circuit and paddock.

Comment: George Alvarez, chairman of Viva and chief executive of Balesia Technologies, said: “Our platform can assist any company in their efforts to better engage and enhance customer experiences via machine learning and AI. Our solutions are not limited to mobile network operators but can assist any company that wishes to enhance its relationship with its customers or fans.”

Coming next: The Miami Grand Prix returns for its second edition between 5th and 7th May, featuring an increased grandstand capacity of 56,000.
