British Superbikes expands Ebay partnership

Ebay inked deal as ecommerce partner last June.

The British Superbikes domestic series has expanded its ecommerce partnership with online retailer Ebay.

Confirmed:

  • Ebay will continue to receive branding at all 11 rounds
  • Ecommerce company will also sponsor the series' qualifying format
  • The 'Ebay Fast Forward Award' also returns to recognise the rider who makes up the most positions during the race
  • Ebay signs on as title sponsor of two grassroots motorsport series: the No Limits ACU Endurance Motorcycle Championship and MSVT Trackday Trophy.

Context: Ebay signed on with British Superbikes last June with the goal of connecting small businesses and the riding community.

Comment: Stuart Higgs, series director of British Superbikes, said: “We are delighted to have extended our partnership with eBay, which is a brand that our global fan base and the wider motorcycle community as a whole, connect with regularly. The new agreement also includes new elements to the sponsorship activation and this will give us the platform and opportunities to build on what we have already achieved with our partnership so far.”

Coming next: The 2023 British Superbikes season gets underway from 7th to 9th April at Silverstone Circuit.
