Warner Bros Discovery to continue showing WEC across Europe and India until 2030

Live coverage of all eight races will be shown on linear and streaming platforms each year.

Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) has agreed a media rights extension to continue airing the World Endurance Championship (WEC) until 2030.

Key details:

  • Coverage includes all eight races, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans
  • Linear channels Eurosport and TNT Sports will air races in mainland Europe and the UK and Ireland, respectively
  • Streaming platforms HBO Max and Discovery will provide access to every lap of every race live throughout the season

Context:

This latest extension will extend the long-running broadcast partnership between WEC and WBD to over 20 years. It also enhances the motorsport offering on WBD Sports Europe, adding to the likes of the World Rally Championship (WRC), the Dakar Rally, World Superbike Championship, Speedway GP, the Endurance World Championship (EWC), British Speedway Championships, Formula E, and MotoGP (UK and Asia only).
