WEC and Le Mans sign supplier deal with Racing Force Group

OMP gains exclusive supply of firesuits and safety equipment for onsite staff.

The World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the 24 Hours of Le Mans have signed a supplier deal with Racing Force Group.

Confirmed:

  • Racing Force Group brand OMP to supply firesuits, as well as other safety equipment, for track and medical staff
  • Multi-year deal commences from the 2023 season

Context: The supply will be inclusive of marshals, safety car drivers, members of the medical teams, TV production and communication staff, and security personnel.

Comment: Luigi Rossi, marketing manager of Racing Force Group, said: “We are delighted to kick off this partnership with the ACO [Automobile Club de l'Ouest] and LMEM [Le Mans Endurance Management] to supply racing suits for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, WEC and the ELMS [European Le Mans Series].

“We are more enthusiastic than ever, considering how racing fans have embraced the Hypercar class and seeing the impact of this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. We shall put all our experience into supplying the best products around for ACO and LMEM staff working on the track, in the pit lane and in the paddock.”

Coming next: Following the historic centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, WEC returns for its next round in Italy. The Six Hours of Monza takes place on 9th July.
