Supercars inks Liqui Moly partnership

Lubricants manufacturer to target specific races over next three years.

Australian touring car series Supercars Championship has penned a multi-year partnership with lubricants manufacturer Liqui Moly.

Contract:

  • Liqui Moly to be official oil and lubricant partner of this year's Sydney and Gold Coast events
  • Brand will take on same designation for the 2024 and 2025 Perth races

Context: Liqui Moly has had a substantial presence in Australian motorsport over the past decade, specifically through its title sponsorship deal of the Bathurst 12 Hour event. This transition to race-specific sponsorship deals in the Supercars Championship will see the brand pivot away from its long-held title sponsorship position with the endurance race.

Comment: Jamie Black, general manager for commercial at Supercars, said: “Liqui Moly has a sterling reputation worldwide for its lubricant products, and we are eager to share that reputation with our growing Supercars fanbase at events across Australia over the next three seasons.”

Coming next: The Sydney SuperNight race, taking place from 29th to 30th July, will be Liqui Moly's first appearance at a Supercars Championship event.
