Silverstone Circuit has signed an official partnership with British retailer M&S.
Key details:
- Partnership spans year-round activity across track days, hospitality, fanzones, and more
- Also includes an elevated presence at Formula One, MotoGP, and CarFest events
- M&S will become an official event supporter of F1’s British Grand Prix and title sponsor the main stage
Context:
This is the latest motorsport deal for M&S after the retailer became the official travel kit partner of the Williams Formula One team. By partnering with Silverstone, it will now have a visible presence at all events at the circuit.
Most notable is the acquisition of the naming rights to the main stage at the Formula One British Grand Prix. Since 2023, organisers have transformed the race weekend into a festival-style entertainment event. Last year’s race attracted record crowds of 500,000 people as musical acts Sam Fender, Raye, Fatboy Slim and Becky Hill headlined the weekend.
Comment:
“We’re excited to welcome M&S as a year-round official partner at Silverstone,” said Rachel James, head of partnerships at Silverstone.
“As two British powerhouses with deep heritage and a shared commitment to bringing people together, this partnership will elevate the fan experience throughout the season. A standout highlight will be M&S’s role as main stage sponsor of the British Grand Prix, where their support will help us create unforgettable moments across all four days.”
