The Red Bull Formula One team have signed a multi-year partnership extension with PPDS, the global provider of Philips Professional Displays.

Contract:

  • PPDS becomes an official team partner, growing from its role as exclusive digital display supplier
  • The company’s solutions will be utilised across Red Bull’s new powertrains facility

Context:

PPDS joined Red Bull as an official supplier in 2022, with a particular focus on transforming the Silverstone-based team’s hospitality offering. This has included the installation of live 4K UHD race coverage, access to behind-the-scenes content, links to the pit lane, and audio feeds from the drivers and crew. PPDS has also overhauled Red Bull Racing’s global marketing offices with interactive displays.

Comment:

“In the fast-paced world of Formula One, if you stop innovating or striving to be better, you’re settling for second best,” said Christian Horner, chief executive and team principal of Red Bull Racing.

“This is something we believe in everything we do, both on and off the racetrack. It’s therefore imperative we choose the right partners to join us on our journey, whether building new engines or providing best-in-class digital displays.

“With PPDS, we have a partner who shares our philosophy and ambitions, and we are delighted to be extending into a new era with them.”

Coming next:

The expanded partnership officially gets underway this season, but has a big focus on Red Bull’s powertrain division which will supply the team with Ford-branded engines from 2026.
