MXGP and L’Equipe sign three-year broadcast extension

French-language coverage to continue for three years across L'Equipe's main linear channel and L'Equipe live platform.

The Motocross World Championship (MXGP) and French broadcaster L’Equipe have agreed a three-year broadcast extension.

Confirmed:

  • New agreement will run until the end of the 2026 season
  • Full MXGP season to be broadcast on L’Equipe live via official website and application
  • Also includes main channel coverage for the MXGP of France and the Motocross of Nations

Context:

This has proven to be a successful relationship between MXGP and L’Equipe, with the initial broadcast deal signed in 2015. That first contract only included the MXGP of France and the Motocross of Nations, which was expanded to include the full season in 2016.

Before the start of next season, MXGP rights holder Infront Moto Racing has been busy finalising the next three years of media coverage across Europe, with similar deals agreed with More Than Sports TV in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and with GP1 Croatia in Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
