Aston Martin expand TikTok partnership as team passes 1.5m followers

Expansion to focus on new content, creator activations, and exclusive experiences for social media platform's users.

The Aston Martin Formula One team have expanded their partnership with TikTok.

Confirmed:

  • Expansion to focus on new content, creator activations, and exclusive experiences for the TikTok community
  • Continues the promotion of the I / Am A Fan campaign, which officially began this season in Miami
  • Further activations targeted in Las Vegas, Austin, Mexico, Singapore, amongst others

Context: This partnership originally began in 2021 and, since the deal was agreed, the Aston Martin TikTok account has accumulated over 1.5 million followers and close to 30 million likes.

Comment: Harley O'Dell, TikTok’s EU sports marketing lead, said: “Since beginning our partnership in 2021, the AMF1 Team have leaned into TikTok and our 'Where All Fans Play' mantra, engaging the global creator community in innovative ways, bringing fans around the world closer to the team, and offering them experiences they can't find anywhere else.

“Through our expanded partnership, we're excited to continue working with AMF1 Team to enhance the F1 experience for our community, especially through the I / Am A Fan campaign, which will see us taking fan experiences and content creation to the next level.”

Coming next: This announcement comes ahead of Aston Martin’s home race at Silverstone, with the British Grand Prix taking place from 7th to 9th July.
