MotoGP is the third-largest motorsport competition in terms of media rights value, behind Formula One and Nascar. Major western European markets drive much of the value of the competition, in particular deals with DAZN in Spain and Sky Italia in Italy, while other key markets include the US, Australia and Japan. Rights to MotoGP have typically been acquired by subscription services including premium sports broadcast channels and, more recently, investment from subscription OTT platforms.
