WorldSBK records 593k attendance for 2023

Attendance figure represents 8% YoY growth for series.

The Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) has seen 2023 attendances hit 593,369.

Confirmed:

  • Overall, this represents growth of 8.2 per cent year-over-year (YoY) for the series
  • Misano’s attendance of 70,815 was the highest of the season

Context:

This year’s WorldSBK schedule came to a close on 29th October, with the season showing overall improvement for the global motorcycling series. In particular, races in Most, Czechia, and Jerez, Spain, saw attendance increases of 45 per cent and 42 per cent respectively. An average of just under 50,000 people attended each race of the WorldSBK season.

Coming next:

The 2024 WorldSBK schedule gets underway at Philip Island, Australia, from 23rd to 25th February, although this is the only race set to be held outside of Europe next season.
