Williams Racing have agreed a multi-year deal with global technology consulting and service company Brillio.

Contract:

  • Brillio becomes Williams’ official digital transformation partner
  • Firm also signs on as an official data and AI services partner

Context:

The partnership will support digital transformation initiatives within Williams, with an emphasis on using artificial intelligence (AI) to help propel the team to on-track success. The union will also seek to elevate Brillio’s ‘Bringing Smiles’ initiative, which is focused on fostering science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and career development among underserved children. This aligns with Williams Racing’s project to bring 10,000 children between the ages of eight and 15 to its Grove headquarters free of charge this year to introduce them to careers in STEM.

The Brillio pact follows the capture of Atlassian as Williams’ title partner, which team principal James Vowles has hailed as “one of the biggest deals full stop” in Formula One and across all sports. Williams have also secured new partnerships with Santander, Super Group and Reviva ahead of the 2025 season, as well as extending contracts with Duracell, Gulf International and Kraken.

Comment:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Brillio as a partner to Atlassian Williams Racing at such an exciting time for this iconic team,” said Vowles.

“Brillio’s expertise in harnessing cutting-edge technologies to unleash potential and performance align perfectly with our vision for the future as we transform in all areas to return to winning ways. Brillio joins a growing roster of major global companies who believe in our destination and want to contribute on our journey.”

Coming next:

Brillio will be present on the Williams cars of Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon from this weekend’s season-opening Australian Grand Prix, taking place from 14th to 16th March.
