WEC signs two-year broadcast extension with L’Équipe

Endurance racing remains on FTA TV in France until 2025.

The World Endurance Championship (WEC) has renewed its broadcast partnership with L'Équipe.

Confirmed:

  • French broadcaster signs two-year extension with WEC and the 24 Hours of Le Mans
  • Racing to remain on free-to-air (FTA) TV in France until 2025

Context:

The L'Équipe group, which encompasses TV channels, a website, application, newspaper and magazine, will publicise WEC. The newspaper and magazine L'Équipe will also offer exclusive editorial coverage throughout the year covering special WEC-related topics and interviews.

Furthermore, the L'Équipe website and app will offer fans real-time race results, rankings and action clips. L'Équipe live digital channels will broadcast the entire WEC season live in the TV area of ​​the L'Équipe site and app.
