Veloce Racing has announced E.On as the team’s title partner in Extreme E for the 2024 season.

Confirmed:

  • The team will be known as E.On Veloce Racing in 2024
  • E.On will look to continue using Extreme E’s platform to promote sustainability

Context:

Veloce Racing and E.On have collaborated since Extreme E’s inception in 2021, but the championship’s final year under the Extreme E name represents increased support from the energy company.

As part of this deal, E.On will have greater visibility to Veloce Media Group’s Web 3.0, esports and gaming audiences. The hope will be to engage with and inspire this younger audience on the topics of engineering, sustainability and motorsport.

Comment:

“All of us at Veloce Racing are thrilled to be taking our partnership with E.On to a whole new level for Extreme E Season 4,” said Daniel Bailey, chief executive of Veloce Racing.

“The collaboration has seen so much success already, and with E.On as our title partner I can’t wait to see what we can achieve this year.

“E.On continues to lead the way when it comes to sustainable energy solutions, and we will be using their expertise to create inspiring campaigns which focus on a greener and more positive future.

“Veloce’s ambitions within the motorsport world support the same pillars as E.On’s work in the energy sector, and as a pair we will continue to promote the importance of sustainable innovation and equality.”
