The Sauber Formula One team have extended their partnership with Italian sparkling wine brand Ferrari Trento.
Contract:
- Hinwil-based team will continue to serve Trentodoc and wines from Tenute Lunelli during official events on and off track
- The length of the deal has not been confirmed, but it will likely conclude before Audi officially takes over the Sauber outfit in 2026
Context:
Ferrari Trento has partnered with the team since 2022, back when the outfit ran under the Alfa Romeo name. This is in addition to the brand’s sponsorship deal with Formula One, where it has served as the official sparkling wine of the series since 2021.
Comment:
Alessandro Alunni Bravi, team representative of the Sauber Formula One team, said: “Our sport is the pinnacle of racing, and it’s only right that the sweetest moments are celebrated with the best of toasts. In Ferrari Trento, we have a partner with heritage, commitment to excellence and a taste for the finer things in life – the same experience we share with our guests trackside.
“It’s only fitting that we can boast the sparkling wine that graces the podium of Formula One races as part of our hospitality offer: we are proud of our partnership with Ferrari Trento and we are excited to be able to extend it into the future.”
Coming next:
Formula One has its final race before its summer break at Spa-Francorchamps. The Belgian Grand Prix takes place from 26th to 28th July.
