MotoGP has cancelled the 2023 Kazakhstan Grand Prix due to ongoing homologation works.
Contract:
- Track will not be replaced for this season
- Sokol International Racetrack still planned to host a race in 2024
- MotoGP also cited ‘global operational challenges’
Context: MotoGP has a five-year deal to race in Kazakhstan, which was set to become the 30th country to host a motorcycle Grand Prix since 1949.
