McLaren Racing has agreed a multi-year deal with advanced materials and high-performance components manufacturer Greene Tweed.

Contract:

  • Greene Tweed joins as an official partner of McLaren Racing
  • The deal covers the Formula One and IndyCar teams
  • Greene Tweed branding will feature on the race cars of both teams from the 2025 season

Context:

Greene Tweed will support McLaren in exploring design, manufacturing, and delivery of high-performance and resilient materials to address challenges the organisation may face during the racing season. This is an expansion of Greene Tweed’s existing deal where it has acted as a supplier of advanced material solutions to the team for the last four years.

The pact also follows the McLaren Formula One team’s recent partnership extensions with Alteryx, Medallia, Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Stanley Black & Decker.

Comment:

“It’s fantastic to welcome Greene Tweed to the McLaren Racing family,” said Zak Brown, chief executive of McLaren Racing.

“Their expertise in delivering innovative and resilient solutions to complex challenges strongly aligns with our continued pursuit of high performance and marginal gains.”

Allon Bloch, chairman of Greene Tweed, said: “This collaboration is the perfect match of our two organisations’ deep commitment to excellence, and a thrilling representation of what it means to operate in extreme, ‘when it can’t fail’ environments.

“Both companies know how to continually push for new levels of performance and reliability, and we are excited to take that to the next level together.”

Coming next:

McLaren will launch their Formula One car for the 2025 season at the O2 Arena in London on 18th February to commemorate the series’ 75th anniversary.
