Lusail International Circuit signs Secutix ticketing partnership

All ticketing at circuit to gradually be brought under one cloud-based platform.

Lusail International Circuit in Qatar has signed a ticketing partnership with cloud-based events platform Secutix.

  • Secutix to gradually bring all ticketing under cloud-based platform
  • Company’s 3D-mapping technology to give fans immersive map when purchasing tickets
  • ‘Tixngo’ solution will deliver tickets in the first instance and then other digital assets in future

This deal follows a similar deal that Secutix agreed with Silverstone last year, with the cloud-based events platform signing a five-year contract.

Amro Al-Hamad, chief executive of Lusail International Circuit, said: “We appointed Secutix because we wanted a technology partner with significant experience in managing tickets for sports events. Working together, we will develop a strong digital platform to provide seamless services to our customers and enhance our fan experience.”

Coming next:

The first event using the ticketing solution will be Formula One’s Qatar Grand Prix in October, followed by MotoGP’s Grand Prix of Qatar in November.
