Juncos Hollinger Racing will trial Seamless Digital’s on-car digital display technology at this weekend’s IndyCar season finale in Nashville.

Confirmed:

  • Partner logos and imagery will be shown on a customisable digital display system
  • System to be trialled on Romain Grosjean’s number 77 car

Context:

Seamless Digital has already worked in Formula One, partnering with McLaren Racing and the then-AlphaTauri outfit. The technology enables teams to be more innovative with the advertising on their cars, even going as far as to rotate sponsors, although this hasn’t been utilised by either of the Formula One teams yet.

Comment:

“One of our team’s main priorities is to champion the things that other teams haven’t before, leading the charge to change the industry for the better,” said Ricardo Juncos, founder and co-owner of Juncos Hollinger Racing.

“The technology and opportunities Seamless Digital provides to our sponsors and partners will allow our team to grow beyond what has been possible before.”

Brad Hollinger, co-owner of Juncos Hollinger Racing, added: “Connecting and engaging with the IndyCar community is what guides us here at Juncos Hollinger Racing.

“Integrating this new technology allows us to connect directly with every individual who watches and engages with our sport – and we couldn’t be more excited to lead the way on what this could look like in IndyCar.”

Coming next:

The 2024 season finale takes place at Nashville Superspeedway from 13th to 15th September.
