Nascar’s Joe Gibbs Racing have agreed a multi-year partnership with the King’s Hawaiian bakery from this season onwards
Contract:
- King’s Hawaiian will be the primary partner of Denny Hamlin’s car at four races this year
- The company will also operate as a full-season associate partner for Hamlin
Context:
This multi-year deal sees King’s Hawaiian move to Joe Gibbs Racing from RFK Racing – the company had backed Brad Keselowski’s entry since 2022. Denny Hamlin is in need of new primary partners after FedEx ended its long-standing partnership with Joe Gibbs Racing at the close of last season, having first joined up with the team in 2005.
Comment:
“We are thrilled to have King’s Hawaiian join our family at Joe Gibbs Racing,” said Joe Gibbs, owner and founder of Joe Gibbs Racing. “Their dinner rolls and other products have really become a part of the daily lives of so many families over the past 75 years and we look forward to helping them celebrate such a significant anniversary this season both on and off the track.”
Coming next:
King’s Hawaiian will make its first appearance as a primary partner on Denny Hamlin’s car at Atlanta Motor Speedway on 28th June. This will then be followed by Daytona International Speedway (23rd August), Bristol Motor Speedway (13th September) and Martinsville Speedway (26th October).
