Formula One to remain on Fox Sports Mexico until 2025

Global motorsport series also extends Play Sports' Belgian rights deal for next two seasons.

Formula One and Fox Sports Mexico have inked a three-year extension of their broadcast rights agreement, which will now run until the end of the 2025 season.

The pay-TV network will continue to broadcast all Formula One events in the North American country, including Grand Prix races, qualifying rounds, sprints, and free practices.

The renewal comes after the global motorsport series announced earlier this year that the Mexico Grand Prix would remain on its calendar until 2025.

The series has also extended its deal with Telenet-owned broadcaster Play Sports, which will provide Flemish coverage of all Formula One events in Belgium for the next two seasons.

“It’s a great time to be a Formula One fan, and the future looks bright,” said Ian Holmes, director of media rights and content creation at Formula One.

“These partnership agreements are a statement of our intent to grow and develop our global fanbase by delivering best in country broadcasting and bringing Formula One to new audiences.

“The 2023 season will see plenty more drama and excitement, so I’m pleased that fans in Mexico and Belgium will be able to experience everything the sport has to offer.”
