Formula E has agreed a deal for Nissan Motor Company to be an official race partner of the inaugural Tokyo E-Prix.
Contract:
- Collaboration will look to spotlight Nissan’s advanced material use, recycling technologies and social initiatives
- Official race partnership to elevate Nissan’s position in EV performance both on and off track
Context:
Nissan first entered the all-electric series in the 2018/19 season, becoming the first ever Japanese manufacturer to join the championship. It also currently supplies the powertrain for the McLaren Formula E team, which won the last race in São Paulo with Sam Bird.
