Ferrari re-fuels Shell partnership with new multi-year extension

New deal will take the energy firm’s long-term collaboration with the Italian team beyond 97 years.

Ferrari has announced a multi-year extension to its long-term partnership with energy giant Shell.

Contract:

  • Renewal to take effect on 1st January 2026
  • Deal covers Ferrari’s Formula One team, the Ferrari Hypercar programme and the Ferrari Challenge Series

Context:

Ferrari’s partnership with Shell is one of the longest partnerships in motorsport, with the deal first commencing in 1929.

The extension comes a month after the Italian team signed up banking group UniCredit as a new sponsor from next year onwards. UniCredit is set to replace Spanish banking group Santander, which will end its partnership on 31st December.
