Formula One launches F1 Unlocked fan engagement platform

Free content includes interviews with drivers and behind-the-scenes footage from race weekends.

Formula One has launched a free-to-use fan platform called F1 Unlocked ahead of the start of the 2023 season.


  • Exclusive access to driver interviews and behind-the-scenes content from race weekends
  • Fans will also be able to access discounts on F1 Store and F1 Authentics

Context: This is Formula One's latest effort to bring fans closer to the sport. With more eyes on the series than ever before, converting casual fans into dedicated followers is the biggest challenge facing those behind the scenes.

Comment: Brandon Snow, managing director of commercial at Formula One, said: “We know that F1 has some of the most passionate and dedicated fans in the world, and we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to engage with them throughout the season. F1 Unlocked marks a new era for the fan experience.”

Coming next: Fans who sign up to F1 Unlocked will be able to access in-depth analysis from preseason testing ahead of the season-opener in Bahrain, which takes place on 5th March.
