F1’s Las Vegas GP secures Red Bull partnership

Austrian company signs multi-year deal as official energy drink supplier.

The Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix has secured Red Bull as its official energy drink supplier on a multi-year deal.

Contract:

  • 20,000-square-foot branded hospitality zone, known as the Red Bull Energy Station, will be located in the South Koval Zone
  • A Red Bull-branded grandstand and fan zone in the East Harmon Zone will include fan activations and interactive elements
  • Max Verstappen fans can purchase ‘Orange Army’ tickets to be seated among the driver’s orange-clad supporters

Context: Red Bull is pursuing a similar tactic to its commercial approach to the inaugural Miami Grand Prix, with a Red Bull Energy Station located at turn 11 at the circuit. With all focus on the US at the moment, the Austrian brand is ensuring visibility both on and off-track.

Comment: Emily Prazer, chief commercial officer of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, said: “Red Bull has become synonymous with Formula One, and it was a natural fit to partner with the brand to create exciting and energetic fan experiences at our inaugural event. In typical Las Vegas fashion, Red Bull’s signature Energy Station and Oracle Red Bull Racing Fan Grandstand will be taken to the next level with exclusive offerings, entertainment and activations that will only be available at the Las Vegas race.”

Coming next: The Las Vegas Grand Prix will take place on 18th November.
