The future of the Spa circuit in Formula One looks promising, with series chief executive Stefano Domenicali expressing optimism about the Belgian venue's long-term inclusion on the calendar.

Context:
As the demand to be included in the Formula One calendar grows, there are worries over the fate of the sport's most celebrated tracks. Spa has been a consistent feature on the Formula One calendar since 2007 but, amidst increasing apprehensions about weather conditions and safety, a host contract extension has not been viewed as certain.
Comment:
“Next year we are going to be here [at Spa],” Domenicali told Sky Sports. “[But] as you know we are thinking about the future.
“What was really good to see here, they have invested for the fans and that has been something that we will always require from everyone.
“I think that we look at these surroundings and that is just magic so I think there will be a long-term future for Belgium.”
