E1 Series signs first raft of broadcast deals ahead of debut season

Electric powerboat championship E1 Series has signed its first set of broadcast deals ahead of its debut season.

Confirmed:

  • Spanish-language broadcaster PX Sports lands rights across Latin America
  • Supersport to air the championship in more than 52 markets across sub-Saharan Africa
  • Saudi Sports Channel (SSC) secures domestic rights, while Dubai Sports will show coverage in the MENA region

Context:

Coverage of the championship, which is backed by high-profile celebrities including Tom Brady, Rafael Nadal, and Virat Kohli, will reach more than 500 million homes in over 150 markets across the world.

E1 Series said more broadcast deals will be announced in the lead-up to its debut event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on 2nd and 3rd February.
