The Aston Martin Formula One team have agreed a multi-year racewear supply deal with OMP.

  • Contract covers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, as well as all reserve and test drivers
  • Mechanics will also be equipped with fireproof suits and shoes

OMP, part of Racing Force Group, takes over from Alpinestars as racewear supplier of the Silverstone-based team, the first change in supplier since Vijay Mallya created the old Force India team in 2008.

This move was expected, though, as both Alonso and Stroll were seen wearing blank OMP suits during the post-season test in Abu Dhabi back in November 2023.

Andy Stevenson, sporting director of Aston Martin, said: “The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team is delighted to begin a multi-year partnership with OMP – a world leader in the engineering, design, and manufacturing of racing equipment.

“In a sport where every detail matters, we share a commitment to uncompromising performance and safety at every level, and we are confident that our drivers and mechanics will benefit from OMP’s industry-leading racewear as we embark on the upcoming season.”
