Alpine enters MotoGP with Pramac Racing partnership

First manufacturer to be involved in F1 and MotoGP concurrently.

Alpine has entered MotoGP as an official partner of the Prima Pramac Racing team.

  • Alpine signs on as the team’s new main partner
  • Pramac will launch their new bike alongside Yamaha and Alpine on 31st January

Context:

Alpine adds MotoGP to its existing entries in Formula One and the World Endurance Championship (WEC), with this partnership marking the first time that a manufacturer has straddled both Formula One and MotoGP concurrently. The deal comes ahead of the impending acquisition of MotoGP by Formula One owner Liberty Media, which is slated to be approved by the middle of this year.
