The Alpine and Red Bull Formula One teams have both agreed cybersecurity deals ahead of the 2025 season.
Contracts:
- Arctic Wolf joins as official cybersecurity partner of Alpine
- Red Bull secures the same partnership designation with 1Password
Context:
Arctic Wolf will implement its security operations platform into Alpine’s global security and technology infrastructure. The company’s branding will also feature on the Alpine car, the driver racesuits and the wider team environment.
For Red Bull, 1Password will safeguard the team’s racing IP and critical data for the 2025 season and beyond. Branding will feature on the Red Bull car, driver and team kit, as well as the operations room at the team’s headquarters. The partnership will also extend to the team’s F1 Academy programme.
Comment:
“BWT Alpine Formula One Team is laser-focused on leveraging the competitive advantage that effective security operations provide in protecting our infrastructure from the factory to the racetrack and everywhere in between,” said Oliver Oakes, team principal of Alpine.
“Arctic Wolf’s unparalleled expertise and cutting-edge Aurora Platform will provide us with the confidence and protection necessary to safeguard our operations at every level, ensuring we can dedicate our full attention and energy to what matters most: winning races.”
Christian Horner, chief executive and team principal of Red Bull Racing, said: “Everyone at Oracle Red Bull Racing is excited to welcome 1Password to the Red Bull family as our exclusive cybersecurity partner.
“As the start of the 2025 Formula One season approaches, it is critical that our entire organisation has secure, trusted access to critical information so we can continue to make confident, data-driven decisions trackside and back at the factory in Milton Keynes.
“1Password investing and partnering in the Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Academy Programme shows further proof of the spirit and depth of our collaboration. We look forward to pushing the limits and innovating with 1Password, including debuting a team-first steering wheel branding display that will feature when Max and Liam first hit the track.”
