The FIA World Rallycross (RX) Championship has announced Construction Equipment Dealer Team (CE Dealer Team) have signed a multi-year, two-car entry for the upcoming season.

Operated by PWR RX - a sister company to the Swedish PWR Racing outfit, the constructors of the world’s first fully-electric touring car - the CE Dealer Team will be led by Emil Axelsson, a former team manager at EKS RX and successful rally co-driver, with Junior WRC, SWRC, and Asia-Pacific titles to his credit.

Like World RX, the squad is firmly committed to spearheading a sustainable future, both on and off-track. Through their participation in the championship, CE Dealer Team aim to drive the shift towards greater diversity and inclusivity, while highlighting the excitement that the move to an electric future offers.

The Nordic-based operation will field a pair of cars, with the programme supported by a number of independent distributors of Volvo Construction Equipment – including Ascendum, SMT and Swecon – and benefitting from the backing of several prominent industrial partners, amongst whom Engcon and SSAB.

The CE Dealer Team driver line-up will be revealed at on 10th May. The 2022 World RX campaign will begin with an official launch at iconic Swedish circuit Höljes on 2nd to 3rd July, followed by rounds at Germany’s legendary Nürburgring, Hell in Norway, Rīga’s Biķernieku trase in Latvia, Montalegre in Portugal, Belgium’s Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, and a yet-to-be-confirmed season finale.
