- Financial Times to also retain presence across Williams’ digital channels
- New contract described as ‘multi-year’ deal
Formula One team Williams Racing have announced a multi-year extension to their partnership with British financial news outlet the Financial Times ahead of the 2022 season.
The partnership was first established in 2020, and now, as it enters its third season, the Financial Times is receiving increased visibility across the Formula One outfit’s assets. That inventory includes branding on Williams’ racing cars and the team’s new digital fan engagement platform.
"We are delighted to be extending our partnership with the Financial Times for a multi-year agreement," said James Bower, commercial director at Williams Racing.
"They have been a trusted and valuable partner and, as Williams and Formula One enter an exciting new era from 2022 onwards, it’s great to have them on board to continue to work together and pursue new opportunities, particularly in the digital space."
The 2022 Formula One season begins on 20th March at Bahrain International Circuit.
