Williams Formula One team have marked the third year in partnership with Crew Clothing with the release of a new apparel collection.
Available for both men and women from the 4th May, the collaborative range features an array of signature Crew classics set off against Williams Racing branding. A colour palette of navy, white and electric blue is complemented by ingenious racetrack-inspired touches such as chicane stripes, chequered flag prints and finish line collars.
Crew’s iconic crossed oars have once again been transformed into embroidered flags – a key detail that has become synonymous with the brand’s many sporting collections.
Modelled in Barcelona by Williams Racing drivers Alexander Albon and Nicholas Latifi, the collection features hoodies, sweatshirts, rugby tops, Bretons and more. As always, the brand’s heritage polo is central to the line-up and is now available in an ocean-friendly style.
Further to that point, both Crew and Williams Racing share a joint commitment to sustainability and a conscious effort has been made to reduce the collection’s impact.
Across select styles, 100 per cent organic cotton has been used, saving approximately 1,860,000 litres of water. Recycled polyester has also prevented around 30,000 plastic bottles from inevitably making their way into landfill or the ocean.
“Last year’s Crew Clothing x Williams Racing licensed collection was a huge success all over the world, with many styles selling out on the first day of launch,” said David Butler, chief executive of Crew Clothing.
“Our design team have continued to build on that momentum, with a brand-new collection designed to honour the most iconic British team in Formula One. From crossed flags to chicane stripes – it’s all in the detail.”
James Bower, commercial director of Williams Racing, added: “Following a hugely successful launch in 2021, we’re delighted to once again work with Crew Clothing to produce another licensed capsule collection for 2022.
“We have a strong alignment of values in terms of our emphasis on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability, and I’m sure this latest collection will once again prove very popular.”
