Susie Wolff has announced she is stepping down as chief executive of the Venturi Formula E team ahead of next season’s partnership with Maserati.

She originally joined the team in 2018 as team principal, before being promoted to the role of chief executive in November 2021.

Wolff, the wife of Mercedes Formula One team principal Toto Wolff, announced her departure on Twitter in a series of posts following this season’s finale in South Korea.

“As the most successful season in Venturi FE’s history comes to an end, so does my personal journey with the team and Formula E,” she said.

“I leave with immense pride in the solid foundations we have built together, as the team begins a new chapter with Maserati.”

Earlier this year, Venturi announced a multi-year partnership with Maserati, the first Italian brand to compete in Formula E.
