Trackhouse Racing have signed a partnership with Gulf Oil for the 2025 MotoGP season.

Contract:

  • Gulf Oil branding will be carried on the team’s bikes and rider suits
  • The partnership will focus on Southeast Asia and Argentina

Context:

This will be Trackhouse Racing’s second season in MotoGP after the Nascar team expanded into two-wheeled racing at the start of this year.

For Gulf Oil, the deal adds to its existing contract with Williams Racing in Formula One.

It’s notable that Gulf Oil has pinpointed Argentina as a key focus of the deal as there are no guarantees that MotoGP will be able to race there next season. The series cancelled the race in 2024 due to government spending cuts and the economic situation in the country remains unclear ahead of next year’s planned race.

Comment:

Justin Marks, owner of the Trackhouse MotoGP team, said: “It is truly an honour and a big moment for the Trackhouse MotoGP Team to welcome Gulf as a major partner.

“Gulf’s iconic brand has graced some of the most memorable and significant motorsport efforts in history and for their orange disc logo to be featured on our Aprilia RS-GP25’s is incredibly exciting for the company. We look forward to bringing the Gulf brand to life in global motorcycle racing and its millions of fans.”

Coming next:

The deal gets underway at the start of the 2025 season and wider plans for the partnership will be announced in the coming weeks.
