Supercars extends Pizza Hut partnership until 2025

Pizza Hut will continue as series' quick service restaurant partner for next three years.

Australian touring car series Supercars Championship has extended its partnership with Pizza Hut until 2025.

Contract:

  • Pizza Hut will continue as Supercars' quick service restaurant partner for a further three years
  • The restaurant chain also receives naming rights to the track map and hard charger broadcast assets
  • Supercars will receive significant signage at Pizza Hut restaurants across Australia

Context: Pizza Hut has only been partnered with Supercars for the past 12 months, but the company has already seen enough from the partnership to extend for a further three years. This commitment reflects Pizza Hut's growing focus on the Australian market, claiming to be the country's 'fastest growing quick service restaurant brand'. The company is aiming to surpass 500 stores in Australia in the next four years.

Comment: Jamie Black, commercial general manager, Supercars said: “To have such a well-known international brand renew and extend its partnership with Supercars is great news for the category as we converge on the newest chapter of our championship.”

Coming next: The 2023 Supercars Championship kicks off from 10th to 12th March on the streets of Newcastle, New South Wales, the first time the Newcastle 500 has been held since 2019.
