Silverstone Festival collaborates with Matta on new brand identity

End-of-summer event undergoing complete overhaul for 2023.

Silverstone Circuit and sports specialist agency Matta have collaborated on an overhauled brand identity for its end-of-summer event, which will now be known as the Silverstone Festival.

Formerly known as 'The Classic', the event will take place from 25th to 27th August next year.

The redesign, which includes new brand logos, seeks to welcome a younger, family-friendly audience, while continuing to cater to attendance from car enthusiasts.

“We knew that we wanted a fresh identity with a sense of energy and adventure,” said Dan Huson, head of marketing at Silverstone. “Teaming up with Matta helped us to create a new look which reflects the event experience and its personality.”

Matt Hunt, brand and strategy director at Matta, added: “We really enjoyed the challenge of respectingthe unique heritage of this event whilst recognising how it has evolved in recent years and where it’s headed. We feel the new fresh look and feel that the Matta team created brings this world-class event experience right up to date.”
