Sauber sells chassis naming rights to Kick as Aramco confirmed as sole Aston Martin title sponsor

2024 FIA entry list also sees AlphaTauri listed under former name ahead of next season’s rebrand.

Sauber has confirmed streaming platform Kick will sponsor its Formula One chassis for the next two seasons, while Saudi Arabian oil giant Aramco has been confirmed as the sole title sponsor of Aston Martin.

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has confirmed the 2024 entry list for Formula One, which has revealed teams’ branding plans for next season.

Following the departure of Alfa Romeo as title sponsor, Kick has acquired the naming rights to the team’s chassis for the two years prior to Audi’s entry to the series.

Audi is set to enter Formula One in 2026, at which point it will own 75 per cent of the Swiss team.

Kick is a streaming platform backed by Sauber’s primary sponsor Stake, and the team will be known as ‘Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber’.

“Sauber has always been about innovation, breaking the mould and defying convention,” said Sauber team representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi.

“The partnership with is the latest and boldest display of the philosophy that drives us. is redefining the way live streaming is done and they will adopt the same disruptive approach in the world of Formula One. With, our goal is to make the next step in finding new and innovative ways to get closer to our fans.”

Elsewhere, Aston Martin have confirmed Aramco as their sole title sponsor for next season following the downgrading of Cognizant’s partnership with the team. Aramco has signed on as title partner for the next five years.

“We are very proud to continue and strengthen our successful partnership with Aramco,” said Lawrence Stroll, executive chairman of Aston Martin.

“We already enjoy an important strategic relationship and their support as our title partner for the next five years is a clear demonstration of our shared ambition.”

However, AlphaTauri have remained tight-lipped around their plans for next season, with rumours of a name change to ‘Racing Bulls’ not yet confirmed.
