The Racing Bulls Formula One team have penned deals with Airtasker and RebelDot for the 2025 season.
Contracts:
- Both companies have signed one-year deals
- Airtasker will shine a light on those who work behind the scenes at the team
- RebelDot’s pact will focus on performance improvements on and off track
Context:
While Racing Bulls provided just one line outside of the usual comments in the official press release announcing the RebelDot deal, the Airtasker collaboration feels different.
Established in Australia and now also operational in the US and UK, Airtasker is an online and mobile community-driven marketplace where users can ask members to bid to complete tasks, which can range from accounting, gardening and assembling furniture, to moving house or general day-to-day jobs.
Airtasker will focus on telling the stories of Racing Bulls employees working at the factory and at the track, which aims to shine a light on the team’s ‘unsung heroes’. The company’s branding will also be on essential race-day kit, including garage tool storage, HVAC air dryers, front and rear jacks, pit crew uniforms, helmets, sleeves, race suits, and pack-up team shirts.
Comment:
“Welcoming Airtasker as an official team partner has been an exciting milestone for the team,” said Peter Bayer, chief executive of Racing Bulls.
“Formula One is often celebrated for its on-track spectacle, but there’s so much happening behind the scenes that this partnership will unveil. It’s the expertise and dedication of the entire community that brings our team together, and we’re excited to shine a well-deserved spotlight on their incredible contributions that make this worldwide event possible.”
On the RebelDot deal, Bayer commented: “We are excited to welcome RebelDot and benefit from its expertise to build digital solutions for the optimisation of data usage, which I know will be immensely valuable to us.
“Our partnership is a perfect fit that will help us work faster and smarter in everything we do at the factory and the race track. In addition, RebelDot’s commitment to sustainability aligns perfectly with that of our team and of Formula One as a whole.”
