Nascar’s Stewart-Haas signs SunnyD sponsorship deal

Drinks brand secures branding on Kevin Harvick's number four car for farewell season.

Nascar's Stewart-Haas Racing team have announced a one-year sponsorship deal with drinks brand SunnyD.

Contract:

  • SunnyD will be the primary sponsor on Kevin Harvick's number four car for two Cup Series races
  • Brand will have an associate presence on the car and driver overalls at all other events

Context: The Harvest Hill Beverage Company brand will be primary sponsor on one-time Nascar champion Kevin Harvick's car for two races in 2023, his final season as a Nascar driver. SunnyD will have a year-long assocation with the Stewart-Haas Racing team, as well as supporting the team's number 98 entry in the Nascar Xfinity Series, driven by Riley Herbst.

Comment: Ilene Bergenfeld, chief marketing officer of Harvest Hill Beverage Company, said: “Nascar has proven to be an excellent platform for the SunnyD brand and it’s why we’ve joined Stewart-Haas Racing. Being a part of Kevin Harvick’s final season as a Nascar Cup Series driver holds a tremendous amount of value because of all that he’s accomplished in the sport.”

Coming next: Nascar returns this weekend with its preseason Busch Light Clash event at the LA Coliseum on 5th February, before the Daytona 500 marks the start of its regular season on 19th February.
